As Roger Collins celebrates his 80th year, we are pleased to announce a thoughtful and carefully planned transition that ensures the continuity of the Andrew Scott Construction name, standards, and legacy for years to come.
Roger has selected Redfern Construction / Redfern Building Group, an established 60‑year‑old, multi‑generation firm, to carry the Andrew Scott Construction brand forward. Their second- and third‑generation owners share our values and are committed to preserving the reputation, intellectual property, and specialized expertise that define our work in the wine industry.
Beginning this year, Redfern will operate dba Andrew Scott Construction for all winery projects, ensuring seamless continuity for our clients and partners.
Importantly, Roger will remain actively involved with the new team’s winery projects for several years into the future, providing guidance, oversight, and the same trusted expertise that has shaped so many of the region’s most respected facilities.
This transition honors our past while strengthening our future—ensuring that the Andrew Scott Construction name continues to stand for excellence, integrity, and deep regional knowledge across the Willamette Valley wine community.

Andrew Scott Construction has established a reputation for building wineries, tasting rooms, estate residences, and other commercial facilities throughout the Willamette Valley. Owner and President, Roger Collins, has been with the firm since 2006 and has brought broad management experience and architectural credentials.
Andrew Scott Construction's building philosophy starts before breaking ground. Our extensive knowledge of winery construction allows us to provide accurate budgetary numbers, value engineering, and help guide the process through decisions that impact the many facets of winemaking. We collaborate with the project team, from design through construction, so the facility created will best reflect our client's philosophy, budget, future growth, and specialized production needs.
Either building from the ground up, or adaptive re-use, we understand the dynamics necessary to handle both sophisticated and utility level construction. Our services include preconstruction planning, budgetary pricing, value engineering, preconstruction meetings with vital trades, and construction management.
